NOTICE! 

Changes to the Right to Know Act, which became effective January 1, 2009

The Changes to the Right to Know Act effect “Retention of Records” (types and times) and “Policy for Right to Know Law Requests” (information processing). To address these changes New Morgan Borough has appointed an Open Records Officer (ORO) to administer these changes. See “Staff and Departments” on this web site. All requests must follow the procedures outlined in the “Policy for Right to Know Law Requests” including filing a Request for Information Form (paper copy available at the Borough Office or electronically upon request).


A full copy of the NEW MORGAN BOROUGH POLICY FOR RIGHT-TO-KNOW LAW REQUESTS is available at the New Morgan Borough Offices. Or by clicking on the request more information and ask for an electronic copy.


A full copy of “Retention of Records” policies can be found on the website for the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
